Hi, I’m Kim and as a life long learner, maker and sharer,
I’m excited for this next leg of my Creative Journey!
This portfolio site is the hub for my current Instructional Design, Herbal Artist and Handcraft Maker work, so jump in and choose your own adventure…
Instructional design [ID] is the process of creating learning materials and experiences to help people learn more effectively.
I love the combination of education, psychology, technology and communications used to create content tailored to specific groups of learners.
IDs like myself use a structured approach to analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating any instructional experience.
After nearly two decades in the private sector supporting Fortune 500 Finance and Health Tech corporations, I’m selectively seeking freelance clients who want content curation, curriculum design and/or development support.
I’ve been calling myself an Herbal Artist after studying Herbalism and running a small business centered on self-care as community.
Herbalist: A practitioner who uses plants to heal and nurture; modalities include supplements, teas, tinctures, salves, oils and more.
Artist: A person who creates art (across an array of mediums including painting, sculpture, music, or writing) using skill and imagination.
As an herbal artist, I use curiosity, folk herbalist knowledge and creativity to craft herbal offerings that are both supportive to bodies and beautiful to experience.
